Institut Memandu Cangiran (QK102) is wholly owned by Cangiran Sdn Bhd (Co. No: 300608-T) and established since the year of 2000. Its principal activity is to provide driving institute services. Driving license is considered as necessity product by which it is needed by each individual nowadays and this makes customers eager to obtain the services offered by the Company. With a starting capital of RM5 million, the Company offers its services as the main product by which it has about 40 staff which includes qualified lecturers, tutors, and support staff to teach students how to drive and thereafter to provide driving license. Currently the Company is in the process of upgrading its learning facilities as to comply with the requirements by Malaysian Road Transport Department requirements.

The Institute provides online services such as online registration, online payment, and online inquiries.


The Institute provides its customers price lists for their reference of payments.


The Institute provides pre-test training for the students before they take exam, i.e. Computer Test and Practical Test.


The Institute gets customers feedback by calling its customers randomly to improve the customer service in future.


The Institute offers discounts to its customers especially for those customers who continue getting its services.


The Institute provides easy payment to the customers by which all the payments made must comply with the price list given. Customers will feel it is not a burden to pay full payment at one time and this encourage more customers to come and get its services.


The Institute provides “Pick & Send” service which is providing transportation service to its customers during learning process.


Customers have many choices of tutors by which they can choose their tutors and can change tutors if they feel uncomfortable with the current tutors. Recently the Institute produces a lot of numbers of female tutors by which they become the top priority among the customers.


The Institute collaborates with some Driving Institutes in other states for the purpose of transfer. This means the Institute’s customers can get its service of transfer documentation and placement to other institutes.


The Institute offers a service of international conversion of driver’s license. This applies to international customers who already have their driving license in their country. Therefore when they want to drive in Malaysia, they need to convert their driving license into Malaysian driving license and they can get the Institute’s service to do the process of conversion.


The Institute offers special courses for handicapped customers, and illiterate and slow learners.


The Institute provides customer care service because it concerns about the customers comfortably, safety, and time planning to complete the course. Apart from that, we found that there is still lack of communication especially among the front desk.


Customers can arrange their time to learn because the Institute operates everyday and the have flexible time to learn.


As the Institute offers online services, it responses quickly on online registration and payments.


The Institute gets feedback from its customers and treats them positively to improve the Institute's performance in future.



Facilities
The Institute provides its classrooms and office with fully air-conditioned to ensure the customers and workers feel comfortable to learn and work.


The Institute provides its customers and workers with ergonomic designed equipments such as tables and chairs in classrooms. This is to ensure its customers learn and the workers work in a comfortable environment especially during long hours of classes than more than five hours. 


In class presentation, the Institute provides LCD presentation by which it is no longer using OHP.


In the five acres site, the Institute also has canteen, prayer room, and rest room.
